I did it for Ty

Last night we went to a head shaving party for our little friend Ty!! He was diagnosed with cancer two months ago. Their were over 60 people who shaved their heads. It was so great. The Boatmans Bank brought ice cream for everyone and the breast cancer people brought pizza. They all could not stop touching their heads!! I was talking to Marc and we said we hope no investigators come to church on Sunday and look at our congregation, and our Bishopric. They also had shirt made for everyone that says " I did it for Ty" and on the back it said I shaved my head for Ty.

The last month!!

We have had a busy last couple of weeks. We have been to Idaho two times. One week I was there with all the kids and had a great time. My sister introduced me to the hospitals in town. I got to meet some great nurses and doctors. Then we went home and three days latter I drove up with Ashton and Logan to stay for another week. Then we got to revisit the nice doctor and nurses we met before!! LOL :) Then we came home and had a great visit with Marc's parents. I love it when they come Kim and I shop for at least two whole day. Fun fun fun. We had Logan and Ashton's birthdays they turned 3 & 5. Marc Passed his test!!! YAY And finally Logan is potty trained. SOOOO Happy about that. I but a few random pics of the last month.

"A Day In The Life Of Our Little SUPERHERO"

My sister put this post on her blog, and I thought that I would add it to mine! Check out how cute my little "Batman" is!

My little nephew Logan is my very special SUPERhero. You see....being a full-time SUPERhero really is quite the difficult job, and one that must be taken VERY seriously at all times! Not everyone can take on such a remarkable job, and do it so well. In order to be a true SUPERhero you must be willing to wear your costume at ALL times so that others will recognize you for the HERO that you truly are!

You MUST be willing to flex those muscles, ESPECIALLY the elbow muscles, so that they are in fine working order at ALL times. (You may never know when you will need them!

You MUST be willing to comfort those that stand in need of comforting, and always have COMPASSION for those that you serve and rescue.

And as tender as this little SUPERhero is, there are those times when you must show your enemies (or brothers, for a better word)just how much you mean BUSINESS!

A good SUPERhero will always "Lift" another and yet he will ALWAYS make it look so easy and effortless:)

This little SUPERhero will always make sure that he keeps up his SUPERhero strength, and will always SAMPLE everyone's food, you know.....just in case there just might be something wrong with it. Such a selfless little hero!!!!!!
(Wait a minute.....I DO THAT! LOL!)

And as the day winds down, a true SUPERhero knows when he has done a great job, and knows EXACTLY how to wind down after a VERY busy day. I love you little man, thank you for being my little SUPERhero!~

Hot Fries

Last night at dinner I was gone so Marc made nuggets and french fries. Logan went to eat his fries and they were hot, so he then went to the drawer and got a hot pad and put it on and proceeded to use that to pick up his fries. His is a little to smart for his own good!! :)
